Quick Bathroom Makeover

If
you’re tired of your old, dated bathroom and don’t
have a lot of money to spend updating or sprucing it up, there are
several things you can do. First, buy new bathroom throw rugs, towels,
and shower curtain.
Instead of buying matching
colors, select a color palette of different coordinating colors. Colors
don’t have to be matched to go well together. Overlay lighter
colors with dark, and rich colors with pastels. Choose rugs and towels
of varying textures to add richness and depth to the décor.
Another idea is to select a
look that’s the opposite of your current look. For example,
if you normally use a dark shower curtain, go light. Light-colored
shower curtains can brighten a bathroom dramatically.
When you buy new rugs, towels,
and curtains for the bathroom, replace fixtures, too. Buy new towel
racks and soap
dishes to go along with other new items. Showerheads like
this Deluxe
Showerhead by California Faucets would be a beautiful
replacement for your old silver or white showerhead.
Replace your bathroom mirror
with a new one, like this
mirror with built-in top lights. For more bathroom makeover
